SME Privilege Card
SME Privilege card which is jointly operated by Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Sri Lanka (FCCISL), Commercial bank and Master card was launched in the presence of Minister of Industry and Commerce Mr. Rishad Bathiudeen during Entrepreneur of the Year award ceremony on 07th December 2016 at Stein Studio Ratmalana.
Speaking at the launch Mr. Sarath Kahapalarachchi, president of FCCISL explained that this multi- functional SME Privilege card can be used as debit as well as credit card. Further, he pointed out card holders are entitled to various discounts from Sri Lanka Telecom, Dialog and Cargills etc. Mr. Kahapalarachchi pointed out this SME privilege card can be used as digital bus travel pass and fuel card with courtesy of Dialog Touch Network. For the 01st year, membership fee is Rs. 300/= and from 02nd year onward membership fee is Rs.200/=
According to National Policy Framework for SME Development which is formulated by Ministry of Industry and commerce SME can be defined as Enterprises whose annual turnover do not exceed Rs.750 million and which employ less than 300 employees. Any SME entrepreneur who is interested in obtaining this SME Privilege card can forward their applications to FCCISL. The application forms are available in FCCISL website (wwwfccisl.lk)
