14 – 18 May 2008 at the Federation of Chambers of Commerce & Industry of Sri Lanka.

A powerful Business Delegation led by His Excellency Mustapha Subry Secretary General of the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce & Industry of Saudi Arabia visited Sri Lanka on 14 – 18 May 2008 at the invitation of FCCISL. This is the 1st occasion a Saudi Business Delegation visit Sri Lanka & it was a golden opportunity for the Sri Lankan Businessmen to interact in securing solid business ties with Saudi counterpart. This Delegation consented to bring lot of opportunities on business, investment & trading for Sri Lanka.

In this connection we the FCCISL organized a Business Forum on 15th May 2008 at Federation of Chambers of Commerce & Industry of Sri Lanka Auditorium for which nearly 30 solid Sri Lankan companiesparticipated.

In this historical occasion a MoU was signed between FCCISLa and Jeddah Chamber of Commecre and Industry of Saudi Arabia.

The Saudi Delegation Participated as the FCCISL,s special Guests at the opening ceremony of the SME Machinery Fair at BIMCH, Colombo on 16th of May 2008.
