Dr. Palitha Kohina Ambassador of Sri Lanka to China handing over consignment of Ceylon Tea to Mr. Wang Yanguo, Party Secretary of the China International Chamber of Commerce for the Private Sector (CICCPS). The Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Sri Lanka (FCCISL) in collaboration with the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Beijing gifted a consignment of Ceylon Tea to Mr. Wang Yanguo, Party Secretary of the China International Chamber of Commerce for the Private Sector (CICCPS) and Executive President of APTA, CCI headquartered of Beijing. Mr. Wang Yanguo was instrumental in gifting much needed medical supplies to Sri Lanka during the early days of the Covid-19 pandemic (2020). Speaking at length about enhancing the bilateral economic and trade relationship, Mr. Wang also proposed holding the next meeting of the CICCPS in Sri Lanka and leading a large delegation of business people to Sri Lanka. He was particularly interested in the opportunities available in the Hambantota Industrial Zone.
